Vitality Weight Loss Solutions Cancellation Policy

At Vitality Weight Loss Solutions, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, making it necessary to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure that we can accommodate the needs of all our patients, we have established the following policy for cancellations and no-shows:

1. CANCELLATION NOTICE

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least twenty-four (24) hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.
  • Cancellations can be made in your patient portal or by calling our office directly at 864-737-1213.

2. NO-SHOW POLICY

  • A “no-show” is defined as missing an appointment without canceling at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your Telehealth appointment, your appoint will be treated as a no-show and will incur the $35 fee.
  • If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment or fail to provide at least twenty-four (24) hours notice prior to cancellation, a $35 fee will be charged to your account.

3. LATE CANCELLATIONS

  • Cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time will be treated as a no-show and will incur the $35 fee.

4. FEE PAYMENT

  • The $35 fee for no-shows and late cancellations is not covered by insurance and must be paid by the patient.
  • This fee must be settled before scheduling any future appointments.

5. EXCEPTIONS

  • We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. In such cases, please contact our office as soon as possible, and we may consider waiving the fee on a case-by-case basis.

6. REMINDER

  • Appointment reminders will be sent via email and/or text 24 hours before your scheduled appointment as a courtesy. However, it is the patient’s responsibility to remember their appointment date and time.
